Auburn University NIL Branding Request Form
War Eagle! Prior to accessing the NIL Branding Request form, please read and acknowledge the points below before requesting the use of AU branding in your NIL activity.
- Any use of Auburn trademarks, service marks and other proprietary rights, including without limitation its names, team names, uniform trade dress, color scheme, logos, mascots, and related indicia as well as any derivatives and variations of said indicia on merchandise will require a license agreement though Auburn’s licensing agency, the Collegiate Licensing Company. Process information can be found at www.clc.com. Alternatively (and potentially faster), you may choose to work with a company already licensed through CLC to use Auburn branding and indicia.
- Rights to use Auburn created photography and/or any video footage must be cleared through Catapult and licensing fees paid for such use. Information on how to contact Catapult will be emailed to you upon approval of your request to use AU branding.
- The use of Auburn branding in conjunction with a third party (such as a business, non-profit organization, etc.) will be reviewed by Auburn Sports Properties (ASP) and evaluated based on the third party’s current involvement with ASP. Third parties that do not have a sponsorship agreement, or have limited rights with ASP, will not be allowed to use AU branding. They may reach out to ASP to learn more about co-branding with Auburn Athletics.
- Auburn Sports Properties, a division of Playfly Sports Properties, is the exclusive multimedia rights partner of Auburn Athletics.
