Licensed Bakeries
Auburn University now offers two ways that companies or individuals may use Auburn trademarks and branding on baked goods:
- A licensing program for home bakers in the cottage food industry that allows for the use Auburn trademarks and other branding on baked goods. The program is limited to home bakers and is not available to bakeries or other businesses with full-time retail storefronts.
- Auburn University requires bakeries or other businesses with full-time retail storefronts to be officially licensed through the Collegiate Licensing Company in order to obtain authorization to use Auburn trademarks or other brand elements on baked goods including wedding cakes and graduation cakes.
- Bakeries may request one-time approvals for graduation and other celebration cakes here.
