Our Story

From a dorm room to the nation’s campuses

Underground Printing started in 2001 out of a University of Michigan dorm room. Since then, we’ve grown into one of the country’s largest collegiate apparel companies — still built around the same idea: show up for the campus community, and make it easy to get quality custom gear.

Today we’re officially licensed to produce branded apparel for 200+ colleges and universities. Every order is produced at our Ypsilanti, MI production facility and shipped nationwide — including to a retail storefront on the way right in Auburn, AL, where local organizations can order in person.
